Hey guys! How's life? I've been thinking this one over for a while. Like, a long a** time. And it involves sticking your hand into a mangled corpse! Doesn't that sound fun?
The Idea: Essentially, when an NPC dies, instead of having a random chance to drop something and disappearing ina puff of smoke like a genie, they would drop as a corpse similar to Ragdoll Corpses. After that you'd have a roughly 2 minute perriod of time to right click on the corpse and take what the NPC had on it. So for example: You have bested and Uruk of Gundabad. You know more orcs are on their way to cut you to pieces but something shiny catches your eye, you quickly go to get it to find a piece of silver. Score! You quickly retreat so as not to die. Basically .when you right click there is an inventory bar 27 slots large. a few would be filled with man flesh, rotten flesh, bones, and other remains. As well you could pick take your enemie's weapons and armor and if it's an archer, maybe some arrows. Now to prevent this from being very over-powered of a mechanic, I suggest the body "attract" your enemies. In other words they spawn around the body at a much, MUCH higher rate. Therefore making it dangerous to stay too long. Now this title so far is very misleading as there is no blood or bones yet. So without further ado...

Blood and Bone (but mostly blood):
When you hit an enemy, they begin to bleed. Nothing too graphic of course. Just perhaps little red cubes poring out of an NPC. This would be toggleable becasue some might not want anything graphic like this which is understandable. They would start to take small amounts of damage. Like poisoning but slower and can't kill you unless you're either bleeding in multiple places or an important place like the heart or brain. Armor could block it with higher protection level being more likely to block it. It would also be sensetive to where the armor physically protects. If you're stabbed in the face, while wearing Gondorian armor, you'll begin to bleed. This leads nicely into another thing I wanna put here...

Physical Repercussions:
When a player get's hit with an arrow, that arrow sticks in him/her. However this is not the case with NPCs. you shoot them, they take damage, arrow disappears. my suggestion would make it that if you sho an NPC with an arrow, the either sticks and deals bleeding damage or bounces off and deals normal damage. This would also be toggleable. Anothe thing is that for NPCs ONLY if an arrow hits them in say, the face they'd either die instantly or take a massive amount of damage. This applies for ground units, wargs, horses but not Ologs or Trolls or anything really big. All that was previously mentioned applies to throwing axes and darts and spears (which would actually do more damage. The whole point of this addition is so that you can have actual battle injuries for your troops and a realistic looking battlefield when the smoke clears. Speaking of which...

George Lucas' Favorite Thing to Do:
Cutting off limbs. That's right. You read it right. I suggest that for NPCs only, you are able to cut off arms, legs, and heads. if and arm is cut off, any weapon that was being held is dropped with the arm and huge bleeding damage ensues. NPC is also slowed down by this a bit as they are in huge pain. Cutting off a leg also causes massive bleeding damage and slows NPC down greatly as it's in massive pain and its goddamn leg was chopped off. If both legs are cut off it's dead or they need to make a crawling animation. cutting off the head is insta-death. Any cut off appendages stay for 2 minutes and are lootable. It is also worth noting that if you kill a Dol Guldur Orc from for example an invasion, in Lothlorien or the Woodland Realm, the increased spawning doesn't apply as they don't naturally spawn there.

I think that's pretty much all I have to say! I know a lot here needs to be discussed and i encourage healthy debate. As always Constructive Comments and Critisicm are welcome!
I have stayed up till 11:30 PM to write this and school is tomorrow so I really need to go. Edit please call me out on any spelling mistakes as there are probably a ton considering my eyes are half closed from drowsiness. Thanks! Further Editing All features that were aforementioned will be toggleable. Anything to do with blood and gore will be set to Off by default. Yet More Editing After a LONG discussion, I've decided that the dismemberment that was aforementiond is a little too morbid and pehaps I could find a way to write this better in another suggestion. Till then, please disregard that part.
