Sand
Sand is a block that is found in most biomes near water. Sand currently has three variants, these include vanilla, red, and white sand.
Sand is a vanilla block which spawns on the banks of water in most biomes. It will also appear in particular abundance in deserts and on beaches.
Appearance
Sand is a yellow looking block that has grain particles in it.
Uses
Sand can be crafted to make sandstone or sand slabs. It can also be smelted in a furnace or forge to produce glass.
Once crafted into sandstone, all colours of sandstone can then be crafted into stairs, slabs, or walls if desired.
Red Sand
Red Sand is a block that makes up the majority of the Red Desert and with some appearances in the Orocarni, otherwise know as the Red Mountains.
Appearance
Red sand, despite it's name, has an orange tint. It is basically a retextured version of sand made to look more red.
Uses
Like normal sand, red sand can be smelted in a to produce glass, made into red sandstone, or red sand slabs. In addition to making stairs, slabs, and walls, red sandstone can be crafted into red Haradric brick.
Red sand and its products are mostly used for asthetics.
White Sand
White Sand is a white version of the sand block that is found in certain biomes. These biomes tend to either have had elves, or Númenóreans live in them, some of these biomes are Dor-en-Ernil and Lindon.
Appearance
White Sand is essentially a white version of sand, it has a grainy texture like sand.
Uses
This is used for essentially the same purposes as sand and red sand save for the color being white.
