Basically, I wanted to ask whether you think it is worth waiting to post suggestions until we hear something more from Mevans. I (naturally) think that my suggestion is worth posting, but I know that he is catching a lot of flak from people, so I don't want to potentially put more on his plate.
Thank you. We know. Be careful. Contact me, wiki staff or server owners via Discord when addressing this issue. Not here please.
Use a non-hacked Discord account ofc, and mention the ID via your non-hacked wiki account.
Just for the record and anyone viewing this who is not involved in the mod:
Combat logging is introduced in the current development version of the mod, and it implies that combat events will be registered and written in a log. This is for server staff to check on eventual rule breaking. The event registrations can also be used by the mod, a.o. to determine the duration of a blockade of any teleportation during a pvp combat event.
I was wondering if I broke the rules because you said it was a planned feature but on the planned features page it doesn't say anything about bees and honey being planned. So I was wondering if I helped or I was being a nuisance.
The planned feature list is not an all-inclusive list of what is planned, but you may expect almost anything explicitely mentioned in lore to be planned. There is a blurred line though and we don't think bad about anyone unintentionally crossing it. We can't even clearly tell in many cases if something is planned, related to the FAQ, a WntS subject, or overly obvious. So, yeah, we absolutely don't mind you 'broke' a rule, you're not a nuisance, and please don't feel bad about it. I'm more of a nuisance to most people in this community anyway, but please don't try to beat me on it. ;)
Hello, again! I had another question on suggestions:
If I have a suggestion that has a lot of proposals (that fit with, or rely on, one another), would it be OK if I were to put seperate messages after the main suggestion to allow users to kudo different parts of the suggestion, but not the suggestion as a whole?
If not, do you have any suggestions as to how to go about doing something like that?
Thank you for your time! (Also, if you would like me to stop bugging you with these kinds of questions, - which I would totally understand - just let me know and I will stop.)
Yeah, that would be fine. You know what matters. There is no ideal way sadly, but that will do. No problem for asking ofc. I just hope you will get some satisfaction of your efforts as there's no telling if anyone in the mod team actually checks suggestions in any (organised or even random) way, nowadays.
