Fur armour is worn occasionally by Orc traders, by Gundabad Orcs and Rhudaur Hillman warriors. These mobs have a chance of dropping their armour when killed. Fur armour can also be crafted with furs on a vanilla crafting table using the traditional armour crafting recipe. Fur is rather easy to obtain in large amounts as you can obtain it by killing bears, and if you are enemies with a faction that uses wargs, you can just slay those.

This armour is helpful in Forodwaith, where it keeps the player warm and saves them from freezing to death. It gives slightly more protection than leather armour.

Upon equipping a full suit of fur armour, the player earns the achievement, "Master Hunter".

Obtaining

Fur armour can be gained as a drop from an NPC that's wearing it, but can also be crafted using fur, a drop from wargs and bears.
