To brew banana beer, you will need a barrel, the usual three water buckets and six bananas. The first result will be a weak brew, which has only 1.25% alcoholicity; then you can go on brewing, passing the stages of light, moderate and strong until you get potent banana beer, which has 15% alcoholicity.
Drinking banana beer will partly fill up your hunger bar; the more potent the beer, the more hunger points it will restore. If, however, you have not built up a lot of alcohol tolerance, it will also give you the Nausea effect, the duration of which depends on the potency of the beer.
